Photography Classes!! Yes, Finally. ;)

I am ready to launch the first (of many) photography classes! I'm sorry it has taken me so long, but I am actually still working out details. I want my classes to be the best classes ever, so that takes time, you know? :)

There will be two classes, focusing on different things. You are welcome to sign up for one, or both. I will cap both classes at 6 people. I want to make sure you can ask me as many questions as you want, and have plenty of hands-on experience!

Tuesday, March 22nd 7:00-9:30 p.m.
Basic DSLR.... Learn to Make Your Camera Do What You Want it To Do
$50 ($40 if you sign up for both classes)

This is a beginning class... we'll cover the basics of exposure (aperture, shutter speed, ISO), talk about how to get the camera out of that auto setting to get the results you want, composition, focus, and more. I promise by the time we're done with this class, you'll feel SO much more confident with your camera! You can do this! If you don't have a DSLR, you are welcome to take this class. There are some things that you can apply to your point and shoot, although I can guarantee that when you're through with the class, you will need that DSLR. ;)

Saturday, March 26th 1:00-3:30 (may go a bit longer if we're just having too much fun ;)
Photography Field Trip
$50 ($40 if you sign up for both classes)

This is the class where you find out the way I work with a camera... I'll bring a model along, and we'll talk about camera settings for different situations, posing, capturing that moment, finding the light, basically how I do what I do. We'll drive around, we'll laugh, and I'll help you on your path to finding your photography style... that thing that makes your photography yours alone, and something special. This class will be fine with a point and shoot camera.

So, now you're wondering... how do I sign up? Email me at bmatcsmith@gmail.com, or call 781-1515 to reserve your spot for either class. This is on a first come, first serve basis, so don't wait too long! You will need to send a non-refundable $25 deposit to hold your spot for each class, and the rest of the tuition will be due the day of the class.

I can't wait!!
