I love the smell of books. and rain. I love sunrises and sunsets so much that they make me cry sometimes. I run, bike, and swim, but I don't like to do triathlons. (I'm a one-at-a-time kind of girl). I teach fitness classes at the gym, and enjoy making people sweat, or cry. ;) I've been playing the violin for over 30 years, and music is a part of my heart and soul. I teach violin... I've lost count of how many people I've taught how to play. :) I'm married to Brandon, an amazing, supportive, handsome guy, and I have three pretty darn great kids... Aubrey, Tyler, and Cooper. I love pizza, mexican food, italian food, chinese food, vietnamese food, and I especially love chocolate, and ice cream, and toffee, and peanut butter, and nutella, and caramel... okay, let's be real. I really love food. ;) I hate housework, and you'd know that about me if you saw my house. My husband says I'm the best pie-maker in the world, but I'm pretty sure he just wants more apple pie. Someday I will be organized, calm, and completely put-together... but for now, I'm just me. :)
I'm located in Vernal Utah. It's a great little town, with some awesome natural resources. I'm happy to be part of the community here, and I love that I have gotten to know so many people through my photography. I do travel for sessions when my crazy life schedule will allow it.
My photography philosophy is a little bit different from the norm... I want to capture the essence of YOU... the natural you. My goal is never the perfectly posed portrait with every hair in place... I must capture this moment in time. When I get into the "digital darkroom" I love to look at each photo as a piece of art... I choose the photos that speak to me, and I edit them in a way that I feel brings out the perfect mood. I am a natural light, on-location, real-life-loving photographer. Welcome to my world! :)
Mindy-- Your smiles and positive energy are so appreciated. Thanks for all you do in making Vernal a wonderful place to live and work.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your photos via Digital Photography School. I'm not LDS, but my son & his family are. In this day & age it's a gift to be able to see a family playing & praying together. Blessings.
